this is close to call. i think he had it long enough for a td. the ground didn't look to even cause the fumble.. looks like it just popped out right after he hit the ground..

Even though everything may tell us he clearly had possession, the (retarded) rule is that when he's going to the ground like he was (contacted while making the catch) he has to maintain control through hitting the ground. He didn't, ball popped out right away. Incomplete.

yea but you have to control the ball to the ground. basically till the play is completely over.

Exactly. I think it's a retarded rule that I believe they put in a couple years ago. I'd like to see that shite done away with in the cases like just now, where he absolutely had full control of the ball until hitting the ground.
