pretty sure that's a td

from the looks of things sure after its called incomplete 3 plays later will score again

What a stupid challenge. AJ has to hold on to that ball though.

this is close to call. i think he had it long enough for a td. the ground didn't look to even cause the fumble.. looks like it just popped out right after he hit the ground..

did he control the ball to the ground? i doubt its a td

Even though everything may tell us he clearly had possession, the (retarded) rule is that when he's going to the ground like he was (contacted while making the catch) he has to maintain control through hitting the ground. He didn't, ball popped out right away. Incomplete.

bullshite!!! You DON'T need to make a football move in the ENDZONE!!!
Posted on 11/29/09 at 12:44 pm to beauchristopher
ah they say he didn't maintain control of the ball going to the ground.. oh well.. indy's d is still suspect.
Posted on 11/29/09 at 12:46 pm to dukke v
yea but you have to control the ball to the ground. basically till the play is completely over.

Exactly. I think it's a retarded rule that I believe they put in a couple years ago. I'd like to see that shite done away with in the cases like just now, where he absolutely had full control of the ball until hitting the ground.

yeah true that. i remember the exact same situation with the saints this season.
