The Heat could NOT make up for this and keep it close.

Lebron/Pippen would favor the Heat and Wade/Jordan would favor the bulls. Rodman would destroy Haslem and Bosh would destroy Longley/Wennington. The Harper/Kerr combo is probably a bit better than the Cole/Chalmers combo although that'd be interesting due to cole and Chalmer's decided speed advantage. Kukoc was great off the bench but I think Battier and Allen more than offset that. It'd be a great series

CC argued that Rodman/Battier was a wash and glossed over Jackson v Spolestra. Almost wrecked my car.

ETA: Rodman would destroy Bosh. It would be ugly.

Depends on which line up the Heat go with. They start this one a lot to

Chalmers
Wade
Battier
Lebron
Bosh

And that line up gives the Bulls trouble. Lebron and Bosh completely annihilate Rodman and Bulls center. The Bulls are much better at the 2 and 3 positions, but not as much better as the Heat are in the other 2 match ups. Harper was ok. I'll even give you Harper being better then Chalmers, it just isn't a big match up deal IMO. Neither of them on their respective teams were/are a huge deal. To me the biggest difference is Phil Jackson could coach circles around Spoelstra. I'm just saying the Heat would have the horses to run with them.

MJ, Pippen and Rodman are three of the best defenders of all time. They have Jackson on the bench. Miami supporters are kidding themselves.

There are 3 teams in Miami's division alone that are as bad as expansion teams

This is beyond ridiculous. Lebron right now is playing some of the best basketball ever seen on a basketball floor. This about the same as saying Wade would have his way with Jordan.

The Seattle Supersonics took the Bulls 6 games that year. To think this year's Miami team wouldn't have a chance is foolish. and again, I still think the Bulls would win a series against them. But anyone thinking it isn't close or this Heat team would have no shot isn't looking at it rationally.

That Seattle team was fantastic. Payton and Kemp at their absolute pinnacle, Hawkins, Schrempf, Macmillan, Perkins and Askew.

Would love to watch the Glove push Wade around.

So did you actually listen to his reasons and/or context or did you just hear that line and throw your arms up in the air?

So now people are trying to argue that the 96 Sonics were better then this Heat team is? I love Jordan and the bulls as much as anyone, but the amount of disrespect towards this heat team historically is ridiculous.

Oh I AM thinking ratinally... The Heat has NOBODY to stop MJ. The Bulls have two players that can stop Bron. BOSH is a PUSS and would get POUNDED in the lane. Wade would be the ONLY player that would get a decent shot and THATS AGAINST MJ...... SORRY PBT..... The Bulls would POUND and run away with this series.............

That '96 Sonics team is definitely deeper and was coached by George Karl. Spoelstra is the Heat's achilles heal.

People who say Spo is a bad coach have no idea what they're talking about. Pat Riley wouldn't have a bad coach as his protege, Lebron, Wade, and Bosh all respect the hell out of him, this small ball 3-point shooting offense with Lebron at the 4 was his idea and is revolutionizing the league, and USA basketball's 3 candidates to replace coach K are Pop, Rivers, and Spo.
