yeah settling on Boozer was no cause for celebration. though not as bad as when they settled on Ron Mercer and that guy from Charlotte in 2000 when they were shooting for Grant Hill, TMac, and/ or Tim Duncan.

I was in the minority regarding the Boozer signing. I liked it. I mean he was a double double guy with solid ratios. It was a little steep financially but that's just the price of free agency.

Can anyone speak on Afflalo's defense? I've always known him to be a scorer, but how is he on defense? I haven't watched him enough to judge it.

His defensive rating is actually worse than Klay Thompson. But like Thompson, he has the tools and athleticism to be a great defender. In our system, I think he'd improve significantly.
