Where am I wrong about him being a bad defender?
Average isn't bad. It is average.

I've stated that as a reason he will move on to a DH role eventually several times. Especially as he ages.
Ok, in a decade when he has to DH full time, we'll bump this thread and toast.
Since you didn't answer the question, yes, your statement was objectively wrong that Schwarber wouldn't help the Cubs win a title last year.

Not when that player is a + batter, he makes up the difference there.

His career is below average.... But ok
If he is below average now we can only assume he is going to get worse as he ages. I mean I don't think he will magically find some source that changes that.
Again great hitter, not sure why your so offended by my below average fielder comment lol
It was true last year, the year before, and again this year

Who says I'm offended? Here's the deal, when you talk about something like baseball, people are going to disagree. When they do, that doesn't mean they are mad at you or upset or offended. They are just disagreeing. That's how people in the civilized world discuss things. They don't need people to either agree or be upset. Some people can see two totally valid points of view and discuss them each. You should endeavor to get there.
You were wrong a lot last year. That's not a big deal. It is relevant in a thread where you continue to make predictions.
To your point, you saying he was bad in two games last year and in 69 the year before when he played some catcher, that isn't incompatible with the fact that he is average in left, which he is.

I wasn't wrong last year, no one was sure he would even play in the WAS. He is still a average to below average defender. Yet, you are stuck on his 17 AB's in the WAS as a huge difference Maker in the series.
He performed, that is great but he wasn't the reason they won imo. He contributed much like a lot of players

re: MLB Trade Deadline Thread (8/1: Rangers acquire Lucroy and Jeffress)
Posted on 7/21/16 at 10:12 pm to BCMCubs oh you mean for this year... well Schwarber isn'the helping this year but the Cubs have 3 other young guys waiting and a steady vet in Fowler.
oh and yes that does mean I think they resign Fowler again at the end of the year. This post was edited on 7/21 at 10:13 pm
Pretty much everything contained there appears to be correct in every form or fashion. Pretty impressive.

Oh man a guy with 17 AB really helped the Cubs win the WS.... And yes I still think resigning Fowler was important if they could have gotten money correct.
Anything else you would like to try?
You should start a thread on the guy who predicted the Saints in the SB, that will show him.

Ring ceremony on now. The Dodgers are gonna be sick of the Cubs by the end of this series

The Cubs were 3-1 in games he started in and 1-2 in games he didn't. Just throwing out a random stat that may or may not be linked.

At least tonight is on time so the Dodgers can stay in the clubhouse and not watch all of this.
Was it a widely known fact that the Cubs have a lesbian on the board? If not, then I'm proud of her not making a big deal about it.

The Cubs don't really need Fowler and certainly not for 5/82.
