I’m not sure how Jiminez is a better backup C option than victor. I think he plays more positions in the infield maybe?

I hear they want Carantini to get more at bats than he would normally get if he were up...hopefully he's got enough cause I don't think what Gimenez brings as Yu's special catcher overcomes his lack of hitting on a team that already has consistent stretches where they can't score runs.
