That's what I thought. But others in the Sark After Dark thread said the other team in 2OT chooses who chooses offense first. So I guess the rule suddenly changed.

CU won the toss and chose offense in first OT.
That means CSU gets choice in 2nd OT. They chose defense.

Usually yes, because typically the team that wins the toss chooses defense in the first OT. Which means the opposing team will choose defense in the second OT.
CU just choose offense in the first OT after winning the toss. Why, I have no clue
