The injury, helmet issue, or foul has to be the ONLY reason the clock stopped. If the clock is not running when the foul occurs, there is no runoff.
So clock was already stopped due to 1st down so no runoff.

I guess that could be it. It didn't really give CSU an advantage as they were about to spike the ball before he went down to one knee anyway.

Timmy Chang is the first coach I’ve seen in forever who knew to get the FG now instead of trying to force a TD and using up all the game time.

I wish had the SDSU game available. I'd like to see what you're talking about with getting the FG 'now' - I've always wondered by coaches don't do that. Seems like it would save you time.

It makes since Hawaii made the FG with a minute left and had all 3 TO it they could of gotten a stop they would of got the ball back probably with 45 seconds left and in that offense that’s very doable
