Most G5 (or G6, I forget which) coaches are gone after a successful season or two but P4 teams may be hesitant to take on a coach who runs the option so Rice may get to keep him for a while.

I've been advocating for a return to the option for just this reason
like Army and Navy
Rice has got to run an offense that other teams haven't seen that requires real discipline and if they're successful who's gonna hire him away

I really love the shade of blue that Rice uses.
They should be added to the SEC just for that. Then add SMU... and Baylor... oh and may as well get Houston and TCU. Then just have a SWC division. That would be pretty great I think.

I think Rice has legitimately good-looking uniforms in every sport
just because that shade of blue and Gray
but yeah in football with that Old English R on the helmet,,its a classic Look even though relatively new
and of course the baseball pinstripes
And LSU Curly wanted to bring Rice into the SEC when they expanded
to be a Western Division Vanderbilt but ended up going Arkansas
