99% chance we lose, but im gonna laugh at all of you for saying that okie state is a lock IF WE WIN..

That is why I only have 1 unit on them...everyone is calling them a lock, which in most cases, is a bad sign

This could be a funny thread to look back on after Texas loses to Ok St, A&M, Tech, and maybe even Baylor. This is definitely a possibility.

I think Ok St -7.5 should be fine this weekend. Is it guaranteed? Of course not. Is it the right play? Yes.

Texas has a problem...

They can't run the ball, they can't throw the ball, and they can't stop the pass. Not good things to have when playing okie state.

TTT I definitely understand where u are coming from on the hedge, and it's not a strategy I implore Everytime; but is one that I have dabbled in and will if my 15 game parlay to win $60k ever gets to the last game . I normally just ride out what I place and hopefully collect in the end.

Fwiw TN added more bulletin board material today if u didn't hear. The lineman Bullard, who wasn't on the team last yr, said something like "we beat the crap out of them". For him to be a lawyer Dooley doesn't know much about a gag order for his guys!

and for my 5000th post with you guys, OREGON CHEERLEADERS:

I know that why I said it because I knew you were talking about home you liked them.

Its just gonna be a small play. LSU, Stanford, Okie St. going to be a large play for me and a minor play on Oregon and Ga Tech. I really like vandy with the points but I dont know if i can convince myself to buy vandy

ESPN is saying don't bet against my boy!

quote:

How 6-8 Brock Osweiler can do what no road QB has in three years -- win in Eugene
If Osweiler, who has completed two-thirds of his passes so far this season, is to pick apart an Oregon D that ranks 16th in the nation in completion percentage allowed and 20th nationally in passer rating allowed, he'll need to get the ball out before the Ducks' pack of blitzers get to him.

Only a handful of environments in college football are as intimidating as Autzen Stadium on a Saturday night. The deafening noise, the Ducks' relentless tempo and their speed in all three phases of the game have been too much for anyone to handle in the past three years. The only way the Sun Devils storm out of Eugene with a victory this weekend is if their anomaly of a quarterback functions at his highest level. He must shed contact and unblocked defenders on occasion. He must scan and see the blitzes coming his way and thwart those efforts by getting the ball out of his hands. And most importantly, he must use his compact and efficient delivery to throw accurately for four quarters.

That might seem like a tall order, but the Sun Devils' Paul Bunyan QB has shown that he's capable of measuring up well.

What would be a better play?

OK St(-7) vs Texas or
Clemson (-7) vs Maryland

I would stay away from Maryland/Clemson. I'm thinking of putting $50 on Maryland on the money line +450 just for shits and giggles.

I'm having trouble deciding what's the safer play Osu -7 or LSU -16.
