Yea it does, he bet $20 and gets $18.18 if he wins, yielding 38.18 is the payout back to his account

Figured it out:

quote:

As you play any of our casino games or wager on sports your Free Money balance will be used in tandem with your real money at a ratio of 29 to 1, for every $30 wagered $29 will be taken from your Real Money account and $1 from your Free Money account. No amount can be withdrawn from the Free Money account. All winnings are credited to Real money. For example, you deposit $250 and receive $250 in your Free Money account. You would wager $7500 to consume all your bonus money, only a 15x roll over on a 100% bonus!

My bets for this weekend:

$10 on Eastern Michigan +29
$20 on SMU -20.5
$5 on Maryland -9
$20 on Georgia -9.5
$10 on FSU +2
$20 on LSU -5.5

Also have a couple small parlays going.

Last week I was 4-2 betting the spread, and 1-3 on parlays

What do ya'll think about:

Michigan -9.5 vs San Diego State
Tulsa +31.5 vs Boise
Oregon vs Arizona over 64.5
Kansas St +12.5 vs Miami or under 48.5

I like Oregon ATS alot. and alot more than the over although i think the over has a good chance to hit.

I dont like Michigan, SDST has the ability to put alot of points up. could be a shootout

The best two players for Tulsa are out so i wouldnt touch that game, Boise could roll by 50

dont know anything about K-State honestly

The main reason is to hit the lines early and get on them before they shoot up.( its called line value) example this week would be UF opening at 17 and now is at 20, thats a huge difference in the betting world.

Of course this week all my games are going the other way

One other thing (which is kind of a difficult concept) is called Middling. Say you bet Florida at -17 early in the week and before kickoff the line moves to UF -22. Some people would consider betting Kent +22 even though they already have UF at -17. With those numbers there is a 5 point window in where you win both bets. Say UF wins by 21 then they cover there -17 but also you cover the later bet on Kentucky +22. You win both bets and dont really risk any money since you are going to win one of those best no matter what.

say you bet 100 on both sides you have a chance to win 200 while only risking 10 dollars when you think about it

might have to read that one a couple times to understand it

How are you only risking 10 dollars?

the $10 in juice is what he is talking about. No matter the score one of those outcomes will take place.

People will middle if they get the early line value and a multi point swing takes place before game time.

Since he is picking both, one will win of course. At worst he loses $10(of juice.)$110 to win 100 for ATS bets.

If they win by 18-21 then both the (-17) covers and the +22 bet pays out.

I think I explained it correctly? If not someone please chime in and help me.

what he said is right

if you look at it worst case scenario is you win won and lose the other. meaning you win 100 and lose 110 (becuase of the 10% juice)

best case scenario you win both bets meaning you win 200

just keep reading it over and over and it will click

I love Mississippi St over La Tech. Their defense will eat them alive.

you are required to bet 10% more then what you will win on every against the spread (ATS) bet. thats why it says -110. it is saying you have to bet 110$ to win 100. its 11 to win 10, 22 to win 20 and so on... This is how vegas, bookies, sportsbooks make their money, there goal is to gave even play on both sides so they pay me with your money u lost and they keep the "juice". anyway thats not the point, to win 20 dollars you have to risk 22. just the way the betting world is.
