losing 7 of 9 is more than just a slump, it means your team has issues... especially since it hasn't been due to injury.

It sucks for the Mavs that the 2006 Finals were rigged fluky bullshite, it's gonna be hard to win a title now that Lebron is in his prime and has a championship supporting cast.

Ft. Smith and I don't know, hoping to make it down in the next couple of months. Maybe come to the port and hit up the Casino or something.

Yeah I still feel like it's a big win, but not as big as it could have been, I feel like we're beating up on a wounded dog.

Goddamn what a sweet victory. Initial thoughts:

- To those who say Kobe, Paul, Howard, or anybody else should be MVP: bitch, please
- Bron's defense on Pierce was incredible; PP was totally frustrated and quit sometime in the 3rd qtr
- Mo Williams is the biggest acquisition in the NBA
- The Celtics bench is atrocious; I hope they panic and sign Starbury
- Good win, but the Cavs really miss Z; his skill set is unique and he's another big body to run at KG
- DJ Augustin was right about the Celtics

I KIGE all of this.

and we do miss Z but it's nice to get a win like this without him. We'll still be at the top of the East when he comes back most likely, or so I hope :crosses fingers:

The silver lining to losing Z is that:

1) we get more data points to determine if Sideshow Bob is worth 8 figures
2) more time on the floor for Hickson; his development is going to be huge, especially if Sideshow Bob walks this offseason
3) a few weeks off in January may pay dividends in the Spring with a fresher Z for the playoffs

I just hope the Cavs don't lose home-court advantage in the meantime.

I also thought it was funny that the Celtics were reduced to Hack-a-Ben towards the end of the game.

Humiliation for the Celtics.

Wally is almost worthless at this point, but I doubt Ferry deals him and his $13 million expiring contract b/c the team is already the best in the East and I would be loathe to disrupt team chemistry.

Unless a no-brainer deal is offered (e.g., Amare for Wally), I bet no move is made.
