Hah. I miss him. He's a great player. But how everything went down really rubbed me the wrong way.

Contrast it with Carmello for example. He has said he wants out, nothing personal, but wants out. He still comes up to play and gives it his all. He's up front, honest, and people can appreciate that. One way or another he's going to leave Denver, but I don't think people will harbor too much animosity. And when he goes they are probably fricked.

-Lebron held the organization hostage.
-Lebron never once called Gilbert to let him know his motives. Gilbert found out like the rest of the nation.
-Since the majority of free agency was done prior to "The Decision", the Cavs were left in a bad place and not able to make any real moves. He effectively fricked over their next season. People want to say the cavs never had a backup plan - well no shite - at that point what would it have involved?
-Of course there is all of the decision bullshite in and of itself.

All of it really just helps to contribute to my loathing of him. If you don't want to play in Cleveland that is fine, but he went about leaving in possibly the shittiest way imaginable.


To me the best analogy of how I feel about it all is this: Let's say you go out to eat and don't leave a tip. Are you obligated to leave a tip? No, of course not. But that doesn't mean its not going to draw the ire of your waitress. And that doesn't mean she doesn't have her own right to be upset.
