Can we talk about the end of the Cardinals-Bears game and how they handled Rosen?

I may have been the only one of here watching and I was somewhat pulling for the Bears, but I was shocked with what the Cards did.

Sam Bradford didn't have a great game by any means, but he did move the ball at times. All in all though, a pretty boring game.

With 5 minutes left, the Bears take the lead.

The cards decide now is the time to debut their rookie QB, having to drive the length of the field.

Things go as expected. He turns the ball over despite moving the ball.

Then the Cards get the ball back and again Rosen doesn't do anything.

The results aren't surprising, but the mindset is crazy to me.

Why wait till 5 minutes left in the game to make the switch? Why put your rookie QB in a situation they're almost certainly going to fail in?

Just seemed like a knee jerk decision that's very odd and benefits no one.

The Cards have already said they have no clue who their starter will be next week

I didn’t watch the game but didn’t Bradford turn it over on three straight possessions?

He had three straight turnovers before Rosen came in. Pick, pick, fumble.
Yeah it was a shitty way for him to debut, but the Cards were looking to win the game.

Because they were hoping for the Dan Marino spike:

Gus Johnson approved

Yeah, but if Im remembering correctly, a lot of it was due to fiesty defense.

The fumble was because Khalil Mack punched him in the dick.

Yeah, I just have a hard time believing that Tosen gave them the best chance to win and it might cause locker room issues.

That some of the worst coaching decision making I have ever seen and my team employed Ben McAdoo.

There's like a 99% chance Bradford was hurt anyway.
