I wouldn't say that but they're not buying non-retro basketball shoes. It's become trendy for girls to wear dunks, air force 1s, old jordans, etc. But I'm not sure I've ever seen girls wearing Lebrons, Kobes, etc. There's just no profitable market to make a signature shoe for a girl basketball player. Nike certainly does, however, have enough money to sink an 8 figure deal into a losing product
