Unlike a lot of the country, I don’t have “Bama fatigue”. I actually enjoy watching Alabama.

But this season’s Bama team with 3 losses does not deserve a shot to play for the national title over other teams just because those teams are in perceived “lesser” conferences.

Bama is still in consideration at this point for reputation, past glories and name recognition. Most any other 3 loss program out there would not be in the conversation at this point.

A 2-loss Bama team, I’m not even giving a second thought. But this year, despite any excuses or logic twisting otherwise, just would not be right with a 3-loss team getting placed in over other Div 1 programs whose only real offense is they don’t get to be part of the SEC.
