is there a worse city to live in for a professional athlete (excluding some canadian cities for hockey)?
detroit and cleveland are even light years ahead of this place. sheesh

Green Bay is bar none the worst.
Buffalo at least has another pro sports team and some semblance of dining and nightlife.
Green Bay is like Jackson, MS with snow, worse food, more annoying accents, and fatter people.

nah. OKC is a bigger city and has at least decent spring, summer, fall weather. buffalo is a colder, less urbanized version of cleveland.

I actually consider Detroit even with Buffalo in the sense that they are both pretty close to Toronto, which is a fun place to hang.

ok u may have topped me. green bay is a smaller version of buffalo, but i bet GB is not constantly going through population nose dives. buffalo is probably miserable looking.

I'll reserve judgment on Buffalo until after I visit there later this summer.
I will say that Atlanta has a lot of Buffaloans, however. I wonder if there is anyone left in Buffalo.
There are some cool food/culture things up there that I know of.

Plus a younger city in terms of demographics with ample college tail roaming about.

If you've never been there, how can you form an opinion on the city?

It is a pretty awesome town to hang out in, and I have friends from up there who say that it's a blast to live there.
This may surprise some, but I don't think that Tampa is a great place.

Sacramento is absolutely terrible

Can't imagine any professional athletes living in Tuscaloosa (unless they call it home during the offseason).
