Lesnar is worlds better at Cain's best quality which is wrestling. I agree as well - no way Cain wins that fight.

Not necessarily, they might be paying him a ton just to have his name in their org. UFC COULD pay him more though. No matter what anyone says, it has always tarnished Fedor's rep that he won't come over to UFC. I've always felt that it has to do with him feeling his legacy might get somehow fricked up if he loses.
I don't see how someone can put Fedor in a cage with Brock Lesnar and honestly say Brock has no shot.

Eh Cain is a pretty damn good wrestler. Probably the only UFC who has a hope out wrestling Lesnar.

Cain could possibly be more skilled at wrestling then Lesnar is, it wouldn't matter because Lesnar is so much stronger though.

Both were All American collegiate wrestlers.

Mir will catch Brock again. It takes a while for a newbie to master all the nuances of MMA. He won't be able to rely on athleticism alone against a vetran like Mir. I think Carwin is in the same boat. Both have bright futures. But Mir is at the top of his game right now, I don't think he will lose anytime soon. Anything can happen though, I'm just not buying into the Brock hype just yet.

You are like a broken record with this.

I really think that this one is a toss-up. I will not be surprised by any outcome.

I know...I know...
It just bothers me when casual fans (I'm not saying you are) throw out the "Brock vs Fedor" nonsense. It's not as bad as the Kimbo garbage, but I still think he was gift-wrapped a belt where Carwin has to work for it. That's my jaded tired ole $0.02

Mir can be very scary if his new and improved stand up is as dangerous as it seemed against Big Nog. Interesting to see if he has that kind of success against Lesnar.

Mir is too crafty and has been there. He was the champ before when he broke tim Silvia's arm. who is to say this man is not on top of his game. his standup is the best its ever been and he works best on his back. Bad match up for Brock IMO...

Mir looked real impresive vs Big Nog. He really surprised me with his stand-up. He's not a one trick pony any more.
Man...this card is loaded. What's the five fights on the main card: Lesnar/Mir, GSP/Alves, Hendo/Bisping, and who else? I hope Fitch/Thiago make the main card. That looks like FON. Does Belcher/Japanese guy who's name I can't remember or Coleman/Bonnar make the main card?

Yeah Velasquez finished 5th, but I don't know anything about the specifics, so I'm not sure what that means.

My question is, who does Brock have to beat to be legitimate in the eyes of those who say he's not?
ie. this is not a sarcastic statement, i really want to know, who he has to knock off.

HE NEEDS TO BEAT CAIN VALASQUES AND SOMEONE OF CHEICK CONGO'S CALLIBER. HE MUST FINISH THEM IN AN EARLY ROUND AND MAYBE HE WILL GET HIS PROPPS....

you don't have to yell, damn.
I think Lesnar's rise was a bit rediculous, because he got there based on popularity. Thats a given, but i have watched 20 some years of this sport ever since there were no rules and no time limits and now that Lesnar is there, he's a beast and i think the people who have a problem with him shouldn't have it if he does end Mir in the first or second round
