Am I missing the part where he has ZERO passing touchdowns in about 6 quarters of play against two mediocre (so far) defenses?

Eh. His teams score at a very high rate per possession during those 6 quarters-- it doesn;t matter if you roll up the TD numbers, as long as your team scores points.

This is football, not Fantasy Football on Steroids. Efficient, turnover free football that leads to a team scoring a pretty high number of points is very good play.

You basically just described a game manager. Which players like Alex Smith get blasted for.

No; a game manager would be someone you don't rely on to win games-- more than that, you ask them not to lose games--- and Alex Smith isn't that productive regularly, or he'd take a lot less flack.

It was pretty unanimously regarded Bridgewater wouldn't really develop THAT much more physically or talent-wise. Not saying he is going to just stop getting better, but it's limited. Especially compared to Bortles and Manziel.

lol

He was very good today. Does his rushing TD not count as production? I know you keep shifting the goal posts.

41 points (with a missed field goal)
Only 3 of the points came off a turnover
26 first downs
317 passing yards
10.6 YPA
558 total yards
Only 2 punts today

Who knows what the future holds, but he was obviously fantastic today. You are hanging your hat on a meaningless stat. How about the fact that the Vikings had 4 rushing touchdowns mostly set up by Teddy's passing? Does it matter how they score if Teddy engineered a ton of excellent drives?

Sprained it on a slide...trying not to get hurt. Rooting for TB, at least a little since thinking he'd be the guy to emerge from this QB crop.

Mett might be the guy when it all shakes out, though.
