You know the braves won't get any of those stats right? He's having a career first half at 33. Good Luck with that.

With the first half of this season being an exception, Escobar > Gonzalez.
I would be unhappy with this trade if I was a Braves fan.

Haha Gonzalez is older, more expensive, and not as good.

Well first let me say it's my opinion and I'm probably wrong to begin with. Because I suck with trades

But anyways:
1. Yunel's attitude was pissing off the team or Bobby to the point they felt we needed to get rid of him

2. We got a good bat in Gonzales, could have been ALOT worse

3. I hate jojo Reyes.

eta: after further research, we got fricked

I'm glad to see Yunel gone. I guess we'll see how Gonzales turns out.

If you have a career OPS under .700 and a career OBP under .300, you're not a good bat. I actually don't think it could have been worse to be honest with you

I can totally see that but what they got for a young player with proven talent at a premium position is GARBAGE. The Reds held on to homer bailey and i guarantee he was being a bigger douche than yunel with way less performance.

I just hope he keeps hitting out of his mind. For the sake of bobby's last year.

Escobar for gonzales itself is a horrible trade, supposedly the braves got two decent prospects though so hopefully they can develop.

Calm down swamps, no need to go into meltdown mode yet. Just take a deep breath and remeber who has the most wins in the NL
