re: Brady wins Offensive player of the year

That was Brady's number one target in 2006 when he was within minutes of the Super Bowl.
If you want to play this game, Brady had no supreme WR talent until Moss came in 2007. Deion Branch is a product of Brady, as was Givens.

Manning had Harrison AND Reggie Wayne AT THE SAME TIME for multiple years. I forgot though, Manning isn't a system QB.

A product of Brady or a product of the system that Brady plays in?

You really think Brees deserves MVP over Brady? Brees had more than 5x the INTs as Brady, less TDs, and a 91 QB rating compared to Brady's 111.
That dude is retarded.
Brees in no way, shape, or form should win the MVP.

He doesn't deserve MVP though.
lol
Give it to Peyton before every season.

What? You realize the offense when Branch left is completely different from when he came back, right? One had a power run game with Corey Dillion, this years had tons of formations utilizing tight ends in the passing game and relying on YAC.

Aaron Rodgers isn't in a system with all his fantastic WRs?
Outside of Jennings, who is fantastic on the Green Bay receiving corps?

Big Ben isn't in a system where teams have to worry about the power run game?
That and he has a great defense

Drew Brees isn't in a system with an offensive genius in Sean Payton?
So we should discredit Brees because Payton is a good playcaller?
So we should give Brady the MVP for putting up great numbers in a great system that a lesser quarterback performed nearly as well in?
Let's also ignore the fact that the 3 Super Bowl winning teams that he played on had the number 1, 2, and 6 scoring defenses in the league and they also had to use spytapes as well. Meanwhile, the Colts have only had 3 defensive players really worth a shite in the last decade and one of them can never stay healthy.

Dwight Freeney and Mathis are two of the best DEs in the league by the way.

Hm, Donald Driver comes to mind? James Jones drops a lot of balls, but hes still a quality WR.

Brady made Branch but Manning didn't make Harrison and Wayne?
I mean, you've got the #1 and #2 QB/WR tandems in NFL history and who is the common denominator there?
I guess Manning is just blessed to have Austin Collie as well?

If you are going to compare Branch to Harrison and Reggie Wayne, I don't know what to tell ya.
Austin Collie was actually a great WR until for some reason they kept running him on the same route and he got killed every time.

Collie was never a "great WR".

So we should blame Brady because another Pro-Bowl QB took a team that Brady almost went perfect with and missed the playoffs
So we should praise him because a guy took the same team and went 11-5 with them? Meanwhile Brady took virtually that same team to 10-6 last year. Hmmm sounds like a system to me.

Yet Manning gets a pass when he has had All-Pro WRs his entire career.
Marvin Harrison arrived two seasons before Manning got there and wasn't an All-Pro until after his arrival. Wayne got there in 2001. Are you going to credit Dallas Clark for Manning's success as well or accept the fact that Manning made them into the playmakers they are?

AND everyone in the league was taping signals in the early 00s.

Find me a single credible source with proof that this occurred. Just one. God you are an idiot.

So you are telling me a 35 year old wideout who while still is productive (thanks to a great quarterback) is still past his prime is fantastic?
Jones hasn't had a single season with over 700 yards or 5 tds but he's fantastic? Oh wait I see you have backtracked to "quality" now. In that case, every single one of Brady's receivers, backs, and tight ends are fantastic/quality, whichever term you are using now.

In fairness, that is 5 games worse, a huge difference.

Virtually the same team?

Collie was good, but on any other team he's not getting more than 40-50 catches a year, if that.
