Wake in danger of losing even a 2 seed, but they'll probably rebound.

Miami, FL just got themselves back in.

Unless a dramatic comeback happens.

Marquette, IMO, won't be able to beat U Conn and others...moving them to a 3.

LSU still keeping the 6 seed, IMO.

are you making a projected bracketology or one if the season ended today? it all depends on that.

either way, however, there is no excuse for having washington a higher seed than kansas. kansas will do better in a tougher conference and end with a better record. kansas is currently better and ranked higher. AND kansas beat washington on a neutral court. this really means they should be higher than washington regardless.

If Washington wins the Pac 10 and Kansas finishes 22-8ish there sure is.

A&M beat LSU...they won't be seeded higher, likely.

they are both tied for first in their conferences right now. kansas, however, is undefeated in their tougher conference with a better non conference resume including a win over washington.

kansas has proved they are better than washington, yet you have washington winnig their conference and kansas losing 4 of 9?

or maybe not you have them losing 4 of 8 but they have 9 left.

it's not like head to head means everything. dayton wont be higher than marquette but dayton beat them. the case doesnt work often.

but, in cases when teams have pretty similar resumes and could be either way, it can decide the seeding. i.e., in your scenario kansas gets the 4 and washington the 5.

some new projections made. I sort of am on the Ohio State bandwagon right now...bumped them up.

Also, bumped USC...have a feeling they're going to get hot.

And I didn't do this on purpose at all...just kinda happened...but check out the 8 and 9 matchup in the south.

FIXED...I meant to NOT put Nebraska in...they're not deserving. Instead, I put them in.

Could I at least get some love for keeping up with this daily?

you can get credit for updating it. but, some of your shite seems based on predictions and some of it seems based on the team right now. it's not consistent.

Not true, although that's really the only way to truly meausure it. I mean...I can't put in UMASS b/c I think they'll win the a-10 tourney or Ole Miss because they win out. I have to look at what teams do nightly...look at Minnesota - blown out by 30+ last night by Sparty. I had them as high as a 3 at one point, but each night and every game helps me understand why a team should be demoted or promoted.

I do it based on projections b/c doing it based on NOW is zero fun...because we know how drastically that will change. If we did it based on NOW, LSU would be a 10 or 11. Notre Dame maybe even still gets in. I look at future games and just sort of evaluate.

I do this every year and think I am getting better and better. With all the rearranging and changing, I am bound to make a boo boo and leave out a team like a Texas (thanks for pointing that out). Just takes some practice. I enjoy the hell out of doing this...and realize most people don't care. It's not a bad way to spend time getting ready for the tourney pools in mid March.

And I just edited...I don't think I have made so many spelling errors in one post since I have been on here. Please reread.

i got ya. my favorite time of the year might be the two weekends of the rounds of 64 and 32, and then the sweet sixteen and elite 8. cannot get enough of the tourney.
