Honestly, I think you're way too optimistic on LSU. Our SOS is among the worst in the nation, something the Committee values highly. Our RPI is still hovering in the high 70's. We lack any big time wins.

Our SOS has jumped up to 126th, and our RPI is up to 59th. We're moving up, and if we keep winning, which these predictions are based on us doing, we're in the tourney easily.

OK. I tend to see Bracketology predictions based upon no projection of future games. Sort of a "if the season ended today" kind of projection. Which is cool.

I like that Pisces does these, and I like to make my own as we closer to the end of the year. But since one of the biggest factors is conference record, its hard to project a field right now. Though I disgree the Committee is very political. All in all, they do a pretty good job. I don't agree with everything they do, but they do make sense of a complicated field.

Toughest job in sports, Baloo...no doubt. I just think that they like to "create matchups" sometimes. They used to put LSU and Indiana in the same field any legit chance they could.

The worst I have seen from the committee was giving Tennessee a 2 seed in '06 and us getting a 4. We were 14-2 in the SEC and had played a MONSTER OOC schedule. Tennessee was 12-4 in the SEC and oh by the way - lost to us in the regular season and lost their first game in the SEC tourney. How that made sense I will never know, but I am sure they'd have gladly traded with us. Wichita State made them look stupid.

edited TN and SC and switched them. I think SC is a sleeper. They are much like us with lack of size, but they have some playmakers at guard.

uofl...How about UL? I would have caught that much easier. I don't see very many uofm's or uoff's. The lowercase threw me off as well.

Meh...probably not, but I like them to finish 3rd in the east and grab a steal or two down the road.
