We've seen how far they can go with HardLn. He had his chance to be the man and failed. Team goes as far as CP3 takes them. If he wants Lebron and Lebron wants to go there, then that's what's going to happen.
HardLn gets to sit back while two others carry him to a championship. Not a bad gig at all. He's best as a #3.

He may not want it but when you don't get the job done sometimes someone has to come it and do it for you.
Being a champion as a #1 guy isn't in the cards for most players. That's nothing to be ashamed of to be a #2 or #3.
What you want HardLn to be is worse, someone with so much ego that he'd rather lose as a #1 than win as a #2 or #3.
