Boise is pitiful this year

Had 3 points at half against UTEP and down a field goal nearing the end of the third quarter.
Benched Bachmeier in the opener against Oregon St after 2 first half picks and what should've been a couple of more.
They play slow uninspiring offense and their D is getting gashed on the ground by a pretty bad UTEP team.
Bachmeier has been playing forever. What the hell happened to this guy? He looks lost out there

UTEP is the quintessential shite football program. Not great for Boise to lose this one.

UTEP was actually thought to be decent this season, but they shite the bed in their opener against North Texas and haven't looked good.
I can't tell if Boise is having a bad night or they're just bad. They blew out New Mexico, who blew out UTEP last week.

They looked awful against Oregon St and put up 30 on two bad teams in New Mexico and UT-Martin. The defense looks to be actually ok, but the offense is putting them in bad spots.
Bachmeier looks bad, but the offensive play calling looks even worse. Very uncreative

Agreed, they don't look like they have any ideas.
TOP can be an overrated stat, but when you've only been able to keep the ball for 17 minutes with 4 minutes left in the game, the defense isn't going to hold up.

People forget that you do need to run the ball and control TOP.
Right now, every stat is heavily slanted to UTEP. This doesn't feel like an upset.

Boise, with their historically inept offense, being favored by 2 and a half touchdowns over a team that controls the football and takes zero chances at all offensively was one of the strangest lines of the year.
UTEP is very bad themselves but literally everyone seemed to be on UTEP in this game outside of people who maybe only bet Boise off the name.
