Don't we have sitting members in Congress that have praised the terrorists, and the media applauds them?

This is stupid, and so is the example. Funny how the media gets worked up over this....from two years ago as well.

The irony is the only people getting worked up about this is people who assume this is the entire point of the story and someone is trying to use this story to get him fired in some sort of cancel culture pearl clutching

In reality if you actually read the article or even looked at it passed the headline, you’d realize it’s simply 1 story of many building up a larger picture of McDermmots incompetence and the reason the Bills are treading water while having a Buffalo sized Lamar Jackson with a Bazooka arm play QB for them

This reeks of a leak by ownership to use as a pretext to fire him.

It’s a bit of the opposite. Ownership is McDermmots biggest defenders. Just extended him and the GM.

It’s everyone else that’s outlining the issues and wondering when he runs out of scapegoats to blame on their issues

Obviously this was a dumb thing to say but he shouldn't lose his job over it.

Noone is trying to fire him because of this story

It’s a story of many stories and results that have accumulated over his tenure that outline why he should be fired. This is just an example out of a 3 part detailed article

Begging any of you to actually look at the article for 2 seconds and the point of it

“In December 2021, locals will recall the news of a woman deliberately driving into the waterway that spills into the falls,” Dunne explains. “She drifted down the Niagara River before her vehicle was lodged against a rock about 50 yards from the brink. McDermott studied up and pieced together a speech. The coach explained how members from the Coast Guard did everything they could to save the woman. He built up the drama. Players held on tight for an inspiring apex, and . . . nothing. He said the woman died. End of story. The complete absence of a point had some players biting their tongues, trying their hardest not to laugh.”

There are a zillion better examples he could have used but he is not wrong. It did take teamwork to accomplish what they did. Teamwork is multiple people working together to achieve a common goal. If that happens it is teamwork whether that goal is commendable or vile does not matter. It took teamwork to land on the moon. It also took teamwork to attack Pearl Harbor. Whether the common goal is commendable or vile is beside the point. Admitting it took teamwork to carry out the 9/11 attacks is not the same thing as giving them a standing ovation for doing it.

Dunne has quotes from multiple unnamed players and coaches regarding the incident.

If I am a Bills fan, these are the fricktards I would be worried about. Who the hell goes to the media (golongtd.com no less) and shares what was said in a team meeting? The same cowards who agree to be quoted but only as an "unnamed source." McDermott could be the worst coach in history and not be nearly as much of a cancer to a team than those quoted.
