Team related and while impressive it isn't like they're beating up on playoff teams

I think he’s fricking with you

on a real note I think Bryce Harpers struggling surprises me most... pretty disappointing so far

Gotta be Kemp, with Judge a close second maintaining his all star play from last year.

Minus when he hits a home run, Stanton is a pretty expensive disappointment.

No one else has mentioned it, but one of the biggest player surprises HAS to be Matt Kemp. A lot of people didn't think he would even make the Dodgers during Spring Training. No one thought he would play at this level.
Judge shouldn't even be on your list. That power isn't going anywhere and I can't believe anyone would have thought he wouldn't hit 40-45 homeruns again this year.
Even though he was nails last year, Verlander continuing at that ridiculous pace is still surprising. Lots thought this dude was done a year and a half ago.

10 yr old Terrebonne All Star Baseball Team:
Thurs beat Kenner 8-3, Friday beat Madisonville 15-5,11am this morning beat St James 8-2, they won their way to the championship game to play us again at 6 pm and we won 19-0 in 4 innings.
The umpires came and check us twice today for illegal bats because our kids were HITTING. Accusations by Madisonville while they watched our morning game. No illegal bats used.

You mention the Indians bullpen which isn't really player related, but if we're mentioning bullpens, the Cubs bullpen playing at such a high level has to be a surprise. That was supposed to be their major weakness, but their bullpen has absolutely been one of the best in all of baseball.

Second thread you are trying to pimp this?
Are you molesting the kids or something?

Considering every player in their bullpen (which was best in the majors last year) is below their career norm, I can't single just one guy out.

Yeah so I went with it and threw another one out there.

Nick Markakis for the braves right now tearing it up too batting 320+ and his team leads the NL east so far

I am really liking Tony Kemp with the Astros

Cubs don't have the best bullpen and their bullpen was not bad last year, I believe they were top 10 among save and hold percentages. So I don't feel that is a drastic surprise.
