Blues get Alexey Toropchenko in 4th round. He was listed by many as a middle to late 2nd rounder. Could be a nice pick up in 4th.

And those deals by Ar,strong have me confused, those are actually great deals, which is confusing. He didnt piss away assets for old, former dallas stars players.

Army, are you actually acting like a competent GM?

So the OHL had 47 players drafted, the WHL had 36, and the QMJHL only 15.

Huge drop off.

The USHL had 40, USHS with 19, and USDP 12.

I love the NHL and NHLPA getting involved with cawlidge hawkey. So many great talents coming out of the college ranks anymore and making immediate impacts, very smart move.

I know Washington won it. But in the playoffs the Pens "won" the division. Imo the Jackets won't win the division in that context. I think you keep your 1st always unless making a Gretzky type trade.

One year is a fluke can the Jackets repeat? Not sure they'll finish higher than Pens as doubt the Pens will be a skating MASH unit like they were this season.

Good news for Blues, i was told by a former player that this kid was a steal in the 4th round. He was 2nd round talent, but some still scared of khl and russian players.

Just confirmed that Alexei Toropchenko (STL) will join OHL Guelph this coming season. Huge kid with skill, great for Storm.

Getting quality coaching in Canadian Juniors to boot!

Also, conflicting reports about Shattenkirk going to the Rangers. 4-year, $6.90 per being the number reported. Some people saying it's done. Others saying it's not finished yet.

Hunwick and Niemi to the Pens. Couple of solid depth signings, Hunwick will be a great fit in the system.

1 year 700K for Niemi.

Lots of minor deals, nothing too seismic yet.

Philly signs Elliott as Mason goes to Winnipeg.

Justin Williams back to Carolina.

Alzner to Montreal.

Daley to Detroit.

Sharp back to Chicago.

Girardi to Tampa.

Nashville basically dumps Wilson after signing Bonino. Traded him to Colorado for a 4th.

What can yall tell me about Daley, Witkowski, and Turner Elson?

How do Daley and Witkowski stack up to the pile of shite that Detroit already has on defense?

I think Daley still has a good couple of years left, definitely on the downswing of his career turning 34 in October and has had some serious injuries and some serious minutes/games played for the Pens over the last 2 years though. He wasn't very good last year tbh.

As long as he stays healthy (he has a bad knee) and doesn't get overworked he'll still be solid.

Alzner was tired of losing in Washington

Alzner couldn't overlook #Caps playoff failures: "I want to win. ... It was frustrating to keep getting stumped in the second round."

Toronto with an under the radar solid signing in Dom Moore, will be a great locker room guy for the kids and true grinder if they make the playoffs.

Vegas trades Emelin to Nashville for a 3rd. Not sure why either team does this.
