With them co hosting Ryen’s show, being a guest on SVP’s show, this was the next natural step.

It’s like when your favorite underground rapper signs that Major Label deal

About a month or so ago Richard Deitsch said that there was a Barstool/ESPN alliance looming. Not sure if he meant more than just this or if maybe the two companies will be working together on more things in the future.

Barstool just hired Julie Stewart-Binks, who also happens to work for ESPN as well.

But could you imagine them interacting with Greenberg?

I just don't get it. What makes them great is that they say stuff you can't on TV.

This was the only sports podcast I listened to.

Good for them, can't wait to see it

I have no doubt that they'll still do the podcast all the same

I don't want them censored and polished. Low hopes for this

I mean it'll still probably be the best thing on ESPN but it will never be the same.

Yea I don’t want this. Sounds like it won’t affect the podcast though.

There's an underlying sense of irony/humor that this is being broke by The Ringer, given that Bill Simmons biggest enemies are probably ESPN and Barstool. Curious to see if they continue to flat out ignore PMT like they have in the past on the site

Bill Simmons is such an arse clown.

He hosted yacht rock radio on Sirius and he made them introduce him as “CEO” of the ringer

I'm surprised he didn't also make them mention that Grantland was a thing
