As far as the move, I hate it. I don't like calling people sellouts, but that's what this is. PMT became popular by making fun of ESPN and now they're on ESPN. Good for them I guess.

They've been on ESPN already and been chummy with all of them

They still call Adam schefter a little pee boy and Darren Rovell a frickin nerd who needs to be shoved in a locker

Yeah, I liked when they went on with SVP and Russillo. I just don't know what them doing their own show on ESPN or ESPN2 will be like.

I like it for the highlights, but the monologues & one on ones with Steve suck pretty hard. SVP thinks it's riveting, you can tell

The amount of "this is going to be horrible" and "they soldout" on the first page is comical.

They’ve said since the very first episode that they would sellout in a second.

I remember when Big Cat mentioned Tiger Droppings and I was thinking my worlds are colliding. I always thought TD was a big message board, but figured I overestimated it being an LSU fan.

As for the new show. I'm with the group that is a bit worried how it will impact the podcast. That is the most important thing for me. I will be DVRing the show with an infant at home. No way I can regularly stay up for that show.

Going back to the first page, I would like to throw my hat in the hating SAFTB corner. I like following the Barstool twitter, but Saturdays are unbearable. The whole thing is so played out now. Every interaction with a celebrity is so awkward.

I actually don't follow anything on Barstool except for PMT.

If they left Barstool I wouldn't ever consume anything from Barstool again because I don't now.

McAfee's show is good. And he has a new one with AJ Hawk and Jerry Thornton called Laces Out that covers the NFL, comes out every Monday morning.

I haven't been able to get into any of the others though.

McAfee can be a try hard. PMT, Donnie Does, and anything Uncle Chaps does are really the only things I follow Barstool for. The Rundown is hit or miss.

As for PMT, it'll be interesting to see how this will affect them. It sounds like it will be weekly and they are using their own production company (same company that does Men In Blazers and Garbage Time), so I have some hope the podcast won't suffer.

I'm not sure this is a great decision for ESPN though. I don't think many PMT listeners are the types of people watching ESPN2 late at night.

Holy shite, that's wild.

If ESPN tones them down, it's going to suck. PMT was never meant to be on ESPN.

Wouldn't that be a reason to bring them on? They are hoping that this will add viewers instead of making an attempt to keep the viewers they already have.

Well right, I probably worded that wrong. Yes, that is what ESPNs thought process is. But I just don't think that is a realistic market for them. I think a lot of people in that 18-35 demographic are cordcutters and people that have moved to on demand content. Not to mention a censored version of PMT would take away the appeal for a lot of people in that crowd.

Like KFC radio, PMT, Laces Out, and The have a betting podcast they just started up with Big cat and Prez that I like to.

Laces out is really good with Macafee and hawk, they really cut out the bullshite narratives about players and teams that the media puts out there. Macafee talks a lot about the bullshite he dealt with the colts front office and Hawk will talk about how all the "rah rah" speeches usually just makes everyone in the room just roll their eyes and stuff like that. Only part I don't like is they have like 5 minute ads because they always get distracted with jokes halfway thru the ads and can't ever finish them. I sit there pressing the "skip 15 seconds" button 100 times.

Haven't gotten into the pat Macafee show but I've heard that's good

I've always wondered how well known if across SEC country.

If I asked your average football guys guy at Alabama, auburn, ole miss, etc., would they at least know about it?

Uh what.

I've literally been listening since the very first podcast. I posted in the sample thread on the MSB before the show even came out...
