but if I'm building a team I want Rodgers going forward.

I don't know about that. Rodgers will have the about the same shelf life as Brees if he keeps getting concussions. Right now I'd say it's a push.

Nothing against AR, but this idea he's just going to cruise to a bunch of SBs is getting out of hand

Hell Peyton is probably one of the top 5 QBs of all time and he's only been to two

Can't be said any better

Rodgers is better but in defense of Brees, Rodgers has a superior WR corps and a far, far better defense than what Brees has had to work with the last several years. Brees had to shoulder a much heavier load than Rodgers for his team to win.

Yes serious. Each has won a SB, But Brees has one of the greatest SB performances of all-time. Rogers had a good game but nothing to what Brees did.

To say it is not close is stupid.

If Rodgers doesn't have at least 5 balls dropped that were easy catches for his wide receivers, he has a higher QB rating in his Super Bowl than Brees did against the Colts last year.

OK. Brees has been to two NFC title games, and won a SB. I like Rogers. BUT If I had a choice I would take Brees over Rogers. And its not even close. IMO.

Never said he wasn't. But I like Brees body of work better and I love the way he disects a Defense. Last Year Brees was INCREDIBLE!!! This year Rogers was just Very Good.

It was a season for the ages, and he was robbed of the MVP. The biggest snub in a while. He was better than Peyton in nearly every statistical category, and broke a few single-season records as well.

We saw who the real MVP of the league was in the Super Bowl.

This is kinda my point. Rogers also had the benefit of a MUCH better d than Brees had last year.

Don't sell last year's Saints D too short. They were definitely above average. You don't hold Peyton Manning to 17 points AND score 6 points yourself if you aren't a good defense.

Granted, the Packers defense this year was better. I'm not disputing that. Just make sure you give that Saints defense their credit.

There was a huge difference between the '09 Saints defense and the '10 Saint defense.
