Yankees won 5 with a rotation of David Cone, David Wells, Andy Pettite, Roger Clemens, Orlando Hernandez, Hideki Irabru, Danny Neagle, Jimmy Key, Dwight Gooden, and Kenny Rogers

Yep, no question. I think McNally was something like 15-0 or 15-1 at one point in the season.

Nah…..and I say that as an Orioles fan. That was a different time. Winning 20 games was a lot easier with a 4 man rotation - especially when that rotation combines for 70 complete games. I think I’d go with Maddux, Glavine and Smoltz. 3 HOF’ers and there was a time where I thought Steve Avery might be better than all of them.
