I was high school teammates with Eddie and Vince Fuller, Kevin Mawae and Raymond Smoot at Leesville. One day in spring practice, I was running scout team defense middle linebacker against the first team offense. They ran a pass play off a play action fake to Eddie. He came tearing up the middle to block me and hit me so hard, I was just about talking out my ear hole. But being the nice guy he was, Eddie asked, "you alright?" He blew up his senior season and of course signed with LSU.

Eric Duplessis from Buras.

Played with him in college at a small MS school. Dude could flat out return kicks and punts for td's and big yardage. The flow of his runbacks was smooth as hell. My dad purposefully wouldn't bring a good friend of his to any of our home games in Jackson because he knew his friend would call his buddy Jackie Sherrill to poach him for State.
