Perhaps the Bengals should have hired a failed burn-out from Ohio who was sub-.500 coaching the Steelers, who went to Kent St., talks like them, has a trapper keeper plan, and really wants the job....and then gave him a Belicheck level buy-out.
Would that have been brilliant?

Taylor spent two seasons on Sean McVay's staff in Los Angeles, the first as an assistant wide receivers coach and the second as Jared Goff's QB coach. Before that, Taylor was an offensive coordinator and QB coach at the University of Cincinnati and with the Miami Dolphins. This is his first head-coaching gig.
He was OC in 2015, when the Dolphins were 27th in the league in Total Offense.
There is probably a reason this guy has only been an OC for 1 year in the NFL. Will be interesting to see how this works out for Cincy.
