so what are you suggesting, sliding shockey over to block ware or moving bush over to block ware?
Yes. Ware isn't this unstoppable beast.
then who is going to block anthony spencer if you slide your protection over to help out bushrod?

"May" be was the operative word there. You're probably right, but it's arguable
ETA: My point was in response to someone who was obviously hinting that he was a moron, and I was just pointing out he does have redeeming value. Hell, he's won as many playoff games as Sean Payton, now

good point, no one, the Saints are fricked, they may as just forfeit.
Its not like they played like shite for 3 quarters and had the ball with a chance to tie the last game or anything

All I ever wanted and expected from the Cowboys this year was a return to championship form, and i was not disappointed this year.
i was tired of seeing a great start, but failure and turmoil in the locker room with certain selfish players running their mouths (even if they could back it up on the field).
the team has become a strong contender, even last year, though key injuries like romo, barber, and felix held them out of the conversation last year.
what's funny is that the same coaching that was trying to work with second and third string players last year are showing what they can do with a healthy roster.
the cowboys can continue to exceed expectations this year if they can control their errors and keep a strong defense like they have these critical last weeks in the league like the Giants did in 2007.
(btw, List, Ware is "SickNasty" on this board..."Freak Nasty" makes him sound like a porno star )
this. great post
if you didnt think i was somewhat joking with the thread title, then you havent really followed my posts very well. i, in no way, shape, or form, expect the cowboys to waltz to miami. just wanted to clarify that for all the sensitive sally saints fans on this board

dude, you are totally missing the point. and i wont even go into the dallas injuries again bc apparently they were fake
all im saying is, all this talk about healthy, we can beat anyone, blah blah blah scared of nobody, its all bullshite. its like the last month of the season didnt happen
ive never once said the saints should just forfeit, i just said you have to be concerned with how well the cowboys and packers are playing, then you got tards like acreboy saying, im scared of nobody, we could beat the 85 bears we are so good, bs

I don't have a problem with the thread title, the Cowboys are a dangerous team. As much as I hate them I've said as much on here many times, they are very good team.

and also, we again return to the playing like shite statement. did dallas d not cause them to play like shite? it sure looked like that to me

I agree, injuries are part of the game. But with some key players back the Saints can beat anyone, that does not of course mean they are unbeatable. All the teams in the playoffs are capable of beating any other team in the playoffs.

ESPN.com had a great article a couple weeks ago about how momentum going into the playoffs is over rated. For example the Cards last year finished 2-4, the Falcons finished 5-1.
The Cowboys and Packers are both really good teams, period. I freely admit I hate Dallas, but I have defended them and warned tards not to over look them.
ETA: As much as people want revenge, I'd rather play Minn if the Saints make it to the NFC CG. But to win the Super Bowl, you can't play ULM.

Damn it has started already. The Saints have to win a game next week as do the Cowboys. But I like my chances if I am Dallas.

From a saints fan...
1) Props to Dallas, they look damn good right now. I know, i know Saints fans hate Dallas fans but that defense is sick right now, and now Romo is playing lights out.
2) Of course as a fan, i want to rematch Dallas. It's the competitiveness of the game to want to rematch who knocked you off your block.
3) If the saints offense gets going to its true form, i think it could be the best game the playoffs have seen in a long, long time. Our #1 Offense vs. Cowboys Defense (don't know there rank) playing amazing could be one to witness.
But thats my view on the situation.

So you think it means nothing that the Saints started to play worse football when the secondary and Ellis got injured, and started losing (while scoring less points) when Shockey got hurt? You think it means nothing that the Saints will be back to its undefeated streak personnel? (Saints were doing fine handling good pass rushes without Brown when we had max protect, 2-3 TE sets we could run to keep defenses honest.)
The Saints could lose in any round of playoffs, no doubt about it. But you are the one spouting BS if you don't recognize that this team's personnel will resemble the early season Saints (minus Grant) more than it will resemble the end of the season team.

"you really are that confident in the saints beating the packers right now"

It's all good when they r going your way? ask the packers (?) about last few plays today. I'm just saying. I never said Eagles COULD have won just helps when you getting help by the zebras. Maybe thats why Vegas give home team (+3-7). Good luck on the road this week & We don't want to hear ANY BITCHING about calls, Just go play.
Posted on 1/10/10 at 10:29 pm to UnoMe
Those refs, mainly Hochuli were brutal in the Dallas/Philly game but if you think it was one-sided you are bringing your own bias into it. They sucked equally for both teams. They should never be allowed to ref a playof game again.
