He played well and not 100%. He is going to be awesome for Tampa.

Browns shite arse organization tried to bury that kids career before it started. I'm glad he found a place to show he could play. Hate it's in division but it's not like the saints are gonna be any good any time soon.

Side note:

And Tyrod Taylor was the Browns starter that went out injured when Baker took his first snap as a Brown.

He lead the Browns to their first win in a come from behind thriller against the JETS almost exactly 7 years ago

My team could have signed Baker Mayfield. It chose Derek Carr instead.

I upgraded my Bucs season tickets this year to second row 20 yard line. After the blocked FG for a touchdown, Baker’s body language on the sideline was basically unbothered. It felt like the Brady days where he was going to figure out a way to win the game one way or another.

Most underappreciated quarterback in the NFL. All he does is win.

I wish I could agree but key injuries and a sometimes porous D is not going to help. The 3-0 is by a total of 6 points. If not for Bakers heroics they’d be 0-3 and fans screaming for heads.

I hope they can sustain. Great new WR too. Main thing is win by a little or a lot it’s still a win. They add up and hoping they can shore up D and get healthier as season goes. Its a thin line these days between good and bad.
