The dumbest AA excuse was when he said it was a bad thing to get the bye, only for the next year the Dodgers to run roughshod over the whole postseason while we didn't get the bye and got swept.

Between that, the constant preaching of "financial flexibility" and him every offseason saying "we'll do everything in our power to sign [insert key veteran player here]", he has proven to be more of a snake oil salesman than anything else.

Fire AA. He singlehandedly destroyed this team

Dumb trade after dumb trade after dumb trade

Resigning NO ONE. Yet signing total fricking bums

Fire this rat frick already

I hate to be an AA apologist, but he’s signed and traded for some great players. He can’t help that a few of the guys we were depending on to be elite leaders have turned into pumpkins. I also don’t believe he was given a real opportunity by ownership to resign players like Freddie, Dansby, or Fried, or even replace them with comparable players. Salaries are going up, and our payroll really isn’t. We’re seeing the results of that. I think Drank is right in a lot of ways to blame Liberty Media for this mess.

He gets credit for Ozuna signing/re-signing and the Sale trade.

He botched Freddie. I'm sorry that was not a Liberty media thing considering the contract we immediately gave Olson. It was only slightly cheaper.

He deserves every bad thing that comes his way (not really, baseball isn't that serious... just making a point on a message board) for thinking Arcia was a starting SS after letting Dansby walk. And then the Murphy deal was just retarded and flies in the face of the "it's all Liberty's fault" argument considering that was a move that made us older and more expensive at catcher.

In terms of drafting, of our current roster, I believe he is responsible for Harris, Strider, Baldwin, AJSS, Elder and Schwelly.

All true.

It’s so hard to, in a moment, quantify the loss of clubhouse leadership, but you’re seeing what it looks like over the past couple of years. Freddie, Dansby, Wash, Max…
