ASU 2009 Schedule

So they released our schedule today...and our opening game is against ECU.
This could spark the HUGE in-state rivalry we used to have with them.
Opinions? Anybody know anything about the former rivalry?

there probably are not many here who know anything about the rivalry, sorry.....no offense, but you're talking about a rivalry between two fairly small (and not well known) schools until the last few years

maybe just the few guys who signed up this year before the game, but that'll be about it.....i don't think there were any members here from before the coming months of the game that know App St. football very well at all.....btw.....good luck to you guys in the playoffs.....and if you lose.....let it be to McNeese State!

The rivalry could be even bigger if you guys moved up into I-A and joined Conference USA with them. Is there any talk of moving up?

It's been talked about for a year or so, at least heavily talked about.
We have made, and are still currently making, changes to our stadium(new seats, new press box).
If we do decide to move up, it won't be for another couple of years at least. Plus there is a ban on moving until like 2009 or 2010.
