Despite Aubie's Pass D woes, it is mostly of a very vertical nature, and at the hands of elite WRs. Not as bad underneath and intermediate, where Darron Thomas and Co live(unless vs Pac-10 matadors they feast on each week).
And I highly suspect that Fairley and Co would stone the Duck OL and rush game decent enough to contain the Ducks somewhat.
The Duck, Horned Frog, and Bronco Defenses would certainly fare no better vs Newton than have LSU, Bama, etc..
I was for Aub to win it all after LSU lost to them, but against them ever since $Camgate broke. Now, should they survive and advance vs USCe..I hope Newton and Aubie BLAST any of Oreg, TCU, Boise..even though I suspect it will be vacated with near 100% CERTAINTY EVENTUALLY.
