Has it ever come out what actually happened to him at LSU and the real reason he left?
He had so much talent.
He had so much talent.

Seems like he already has ruined his life. Sad but true. He could have been a superstar and I think he just pissed away his last chance.

He was allegedly dismissed from UGA for stealing from his teammates.
He also apparently has an undiagnosed mental health issue that his family is in denial of, so he’s behind the 8 ball big time.

unless he actually addresses his mental health, which is obviously needed at this point
Maybe he’s just a piece of shite?

Sounds like he's a klepto on top of whatever other mental issues he has. Dude needs help. But I can only feel sorry and use mental health as an excuse for so long especially for someone that has had access to more help than most people with mental disorders do. Gotta imagine there's no shortage of therapists and psychiatrists available to him at LSU, UGA, and Nebraska. At a certain point it falls on him.

What if there isn't anything mentally wrong with him and those were just excuses?
I’m going to go ahead and wager this is the correct answer here.

You know what, f him. You can feel bad for him knowing he’s crazy but the way he played lsu with all the medical stuff before he left. He can sit in jail or in a gutter or under an overpass for all I care.

Both can be true. Having mental issues doesn't mean you can't also be a POS aside from it. His mental problems had been talked about before he had incidents like this so I can believe he legit has something wrong with him. But I also believe he has more avenues and also higher quality avenues to address it than the average layman does at 3 major programs with a lot of resources available to their athletes.
And it's also quite possible that even aside from whatever ailment he may have he could also just not be a good person. Certainly if he didn't have all that talent then he probably wouldn't be given the benefit of the doubt as much as he has. If it was just some random guy doing this that made a news headline no one would have sympathy for him

Yeah but everyone saying “he needs help” are hindering him. He’s had ample opportunities to be helped and take care of whatever “mental health problems” that have been “plaguing” him.
At some point it isn’t mental health, the guy is just a shitty human being. Not everything needs or deserves a diagnosis.

You have no idea what "all the medical stuff" was that he was dealing with.

Is LSU the only team he's ever actually played a game for? Don't remember if he actually got pt at UGA and now at Nebraska.
Posted on 8/29/23 at 12:20 pm to StrongOffer
played in 2 or 3 at UGA.

The truth is that nobody even knows if any of that is true. Its the most logical reason, but the family nor Arik has come out and said he has issues.

It’s too bad BK wasn’t his coach at LSU. Things may have been different for him.
Posted on 8/29/23 at 1:31 pm to talmaniandevil_25
He has been given lots of help at the schools he attended. I feel sorry for the guy but his window to figure it out is closing.

Imagine Davey A. with Gilbert at DE. Oh my!

Really sad that he can't get his shite together, I've watched him since he was a junior in HS.
