Went after his kickers, the refs, and the league. Said the NFL will give him a "bullshite" answer as usual.

He mad. They're not robots. The mistakes are part of the entertainment.

I enjoy football but the NFL has been taking some of the fun out of it with the refs. At times there have been entirely way too many flags and I've seen some bad calls as well. There's a point in which flags end up disrupting the flow of the game.

The NFL has become unwatchable.

It's not a good product right now.

These refs just want camera time, I honestly believe that.

They should start a ref fantasy league, points for flags thrown and what type of penalties they call

I thought last night's game was entertaining. Seattle had ZERO offense, but the defense kept playing lights out, even as the yards and snaps piled up against them.

They caught a couple breaks on special teams thanks to a chip shot shank and got out of there only giving up 6 points despite playing 90 snaps.

Only person to be mad at are the kickers if you want to go that route. They get paid a lot of cash to kick field goals. Anything inside 40 should be automatic.

He's coming off as a bit of a little bitch. The Seahawks had way more penalties called on them and the Wagner play was maybe not even a miss to begin with.

So what if he's being a bitch, he's right.

The NFL defended the Browns "fumble" a few weeks ago. The refs aren't that good to begin with, and now the NFL wants every little thing called. This is something that they are always inconsistent with. If it isn't going to get called, take it out the book

Let them play again. I'm a huge NFL fan, but several times this year, in non-Saints games, I've been bored by the constant flags

If what isn't going to be called? The first leaping the center play really did just look legit in real time. I was surprised when they showed the angle with his feet brushing the center's back. It was not that bad of a miss (and now appears that it also might not be clearly illegal).

People bitch when they call ticky-tack PI and defensive holding, but now they're bitching that the refs didn't call a ticky-tack roughing the snapper penalty that is too convoluted to be officiated consistently in the first place.

Yeah. And also complaining about the game in general. I thought the game was awesome.

You seemed to answer your own question:

Get rid of the rule. Also, how about the 2nd one?

Because the VP of OFficiating said something that goes against the way it has always been called in the past, including this year. He also said the Browns call was right....

Also, that is the entire point. Simplify the rulebook and get rid of the crap that is never going to be consistently called.

Fine, but what does that have to do with the refs?

I mean do I need to quote my OP?

Ah, so you don't even know the rule....

hint, it doesn't have to be the center

PI and holding are subjective penalties that are open to interpretation. Roughing the snapper is black and white. Either he touched him or he didn't.

You don't know the rule. The rule is not if he is touched. It's a judgment call and there is no way that was roughing.

The guard reached out and made deliberate contact with him. I'd be surprised if that was the intent of the rule.

He's right about the field goals and the idiot jumping the center TWICE and hitting him both times. That , imo , cannot be missed by the refs. They don't have much to do I'm a FG try , so they shouldn't miss something so blatant. Stupid rule? Yeah. But a rule nonetheless.
