Are we allowed to admit these Bubble Playoffs have been fun?

One of the best playoffs in a long time. I like how the wrinkle of having no fans or travel was a wrinkle that caused a bunch of upsets. I think the gameplay for the most part was also pretty high level.

EASILY.

I had to miss last night's game but there have been so many great games. We've had a few NBA threads that posters stated x game was the game of the season/playoffs/bubble etc.

Jazz/Nuggs comes to mind.

It has been run extremely well

Same for the USTA bubble for the US Open which was completed recently. That was a month long bubble where things went off well except for one incident

Excellent playoffs.

The NBA has been excellent for a while now. Injuries derailed much of last season, but the past decade has been pretty good.

I'm rather impressed at how competitive and fun the games have been. And watching Miami and Denver play has been a revelation. They're super fun.

Of course we wouldn't want this to be the norm but I believe these playoffs have easily exceeded expectations as far as presentation and quality of play.

Why wouldn't you be able to say the bubble/playoffs have been fun?

Hockey? For sure. The hockey bubble, The Hubble, had been exceptional. No drop off in fun watching experience.

I took a hit after being stoked for Pels basketball for 2 months and then seeing us lose the same way we did pre-COVID

but yes, the bubble has been awesome.

Bubble is well run and games have been solid. I did watch less though just from exhaustion from the politics. Don’t necessarily hate the message, but sometimes I want sports as an escape and it is tiresome.
