Why aren't more people concerned about the DA's office in Atlantic City?? I feel that failure to pursue criminal charges far out weighs whether an employer's brand was tarnished. The media and those who feed it have some fricked up priorities for sure.

Plenty in the media have called them out but the NFL is way bigger than whoever the Atlantic City DA is so more attention to them.

s this really what you are going with? Ray Rice isn't the commissioner of the NFL

I am going with consequences being of greater consequence to the commissioner losing his job forever.

Ray will sign and play a few more years. He sits out one year only because the video went public.

The victim, the Ravens and probably Roger's office knew most of the bad details of Rice's battery. "yeah I knocked out for a few seconds"

He pleads for mercy and it's granted...

Now the video comes out and it's "Roger how could you hate women so much?"

Two police reports, one legit, one coverup. The DA tried to sweep it under the rug. They suck too.

I don't think you have the slightest understanding of this situation, and you probably shouldn't post anymore until you do.

Police are called all the time only to be hit by the woman "don't arrest my baby"

Give me a break with the cover up BS... The wife doesn't want Ray Charged..She played a part as well...

this is stupid

You have no idea what you are talking about.

There was pressure long before the video came out.

Now that the video came out, people are questioning is judgement. Big thing to question with the power he has granted himself

He doesn't, and now he's trying to compare a player to the guy in charge of "protecting the shield"

It is his job to prevent media shitstorms like this against the NFL.

I don't watch the news either.

Tell me, why do you care if Roger Goodell makes 45+ million dollars next year?

Ok, so you think the DA should waste Tax payer money when the victim says "We're about to get married, it's over, we're good on our end"

How does that end up becoming a cover up?

It amazes me how so many crimes have been committed by so many NFL players/coaches/employees, and how many fair/unfair punishments have been handed down by the league, and now everyone seizes on this one particular incident and suddenly everyone is losing their shite. I mean, in the grand scheme of things, were it not for the media (social and otherwise) blowing up over this, it wouldn't be that big of a deal IMO. It'd just be another everyday crime committed by another everyday NFL employee.

But. . . here we are.

I don't like it when we allow Political correctness to rule the day and the public celebrate an unjust result. (if he loses his job)

Roger is rich and married a beautiful woman, but I am not envious and I don't have anything against him. I think we have a lot of Saints fans on here butt hurt over his ruling that frankly had to be...

this is ray's mess and the focus should be on him

and I think grace and forgiveness should be granted to him if he has changed.

Off the field issues by one player should not involve the commission of the NFL- that's my only voice here

when there is mob reaction, well I don't always go with it
