He's fun to watch, but I wouldn't make any special trips to see someone who put himself above the team numerous times. If he didn't know any better before the Auburn game suspension last year, he should have learned his lesson afterwards and he didn't.

I have never been high on Les Miles, because I don't like his decision making, but I earned a little respect for him here.

McNeese tailgating is pretty decent actually but last time I have been is when they went undefeated in 07 which included a beat down of ULL. It's not LSU obviously but LC can be fun. There should be a couple games on tv. A lot of butthurt in this thread. It's amazing how taking off a LSU jersey changes someones opinion about someone.

I'd watch him play if for some strange reason a McNeese game was ever on the tube

"AA" have televised playoffs.

McNeese picked to finish 4th in conference behind (among others) last year's national championship finalist Sam Houston.

In a statement released Saturday, McNeese State coach Matt Viator says he has met with Mathieu, but the former Heisman Trophy finalist has not made a decision.

"We contacted LSU to get permission to talk to him and he arrived on campus later that night. We visited for an hour-and-a-half and then he went back home to New Orleans."

Hearing it's all but a done deal. TM7 wants to play this year and isnt interested in sitting out a year. McNeese is in a good position, it makes sense.
