I acknowledged that he chases rings and does whatever he can to get on the best team at this point in his career. I also thought that his daughter was not basically living at the hospital anymore, so his family could live wherever he wanted to play. Seriously, provide with me a link that shows she still needs daily or at frequent treatment.

no you didn't. you said this -

"Why do you care? At his best, he was an average starter or a role player. In the present day, he is one of the worst players in the NBA. There is nothing with chasing titles. Sure, it is nice when you can stay with a team and win with them, but Fisher was never good enough to be a cornerstone of any team, let alone a championship caliber team."

you never expressed that "he chases rings" and "does whatever he can to get on the best team". you just said some gibberish about "there is nothing with chasing titles"

By the way, here's a link of derek fisher on his asking for a release from the Mavericks.

LINK

Fisher clearly asked for a release from the Mavericks so he could be closer to his family in LA.

He then joins OKC later.

The dude is a liar and he is using his daughter to get what he wants. The point of her having cancer or not is irrelevant and I have no idea why you keep bringing it up.

this.

and btw Vicks Kennel Club - I'm not trying to be an arse to you, but you attacked me first and turned it into a cancer argument. the point is that Derek Fisher is a liar and has done this type of thing to more than one team in his career.

the league office and refs were the heart and soul of those Lakers teams and was the ONLY reason they won the finals back to back to back. Kobe and Fisher were just fans along for the ride.

Clearly, I forgot to include the word "wrong." Can you not use context clues?

I do not think he specified why he wants to spend more time with his family. Kind of shitty for not finishing out his contract, but seriously, was it actually a loss for the Mavs? He probably helped them by removing himself from the roster.

Like I said, he chases titles. At the same time, a person can change their mind and go back into playing. Coaches do this shite all the time.

His daughter is no longer "confined" to LA where she is constantly in and out of hospitals. I have even see a couple of broadcasts in the last couple of years where they have showed his family in the crowd.

If we agree he's a title chaser, then there's really nothing else to discuss.

You think he's an honest title chaser, and I think he's a dishonest one. So you have your reasons for liking him, and I have my reasons for not liking him.

Don't feel like going in circles all night
