The difference in a good and a bad defense is being able to play man-to-man.
Michigan State has a great defense because they can cover one on one with limited safety help and bring all kinds of blitzes.
Ohio State fans don't understand that even if we brought a ton of pressure, we would have gotten ABUSED one on one, even "star corner" Bradley Roby.
When Ohio State was killing it on defense they had incredible corners like Shaun Springs, Antoine Winfield, Nate Clements, Malcolm Jenkins, Ahmed Plummer, etc.
Until Ohio State teaches it's athletes to cover without relying on safety help, they will never be good enough to win a National Championship, IMO.
