not a golfer but a physical therapist...those little compression bands actually work quite well...for a quick fix...they prevent you from gripping quite as hard as you normally would and keep your tissue nice and compressed and warm.

With a flare up...go a couple of advil (as long as you don't have stomach problems) and do an ice massage (frozen water in a paper/plastic cup) right on the area for about 4-5 minutes(don't be afraid to press in a little bit). A lot of times you can just have some tight fascia/a little muscle imbalance in your forearm that causes this to get waaay worse than it should. Pretty easy fix with a few treatments.

L.A., I just had to come back and thank you for the advice. I got the wrap yesterday at Walgreens. It was $14. I played a round today and had no pain.
