Opt outs get to still attend the bowl? Hang out with the team, free food and hotel? Just to watch?

Doesn’t seem right

Depends on the team. I don't think any of LSU's opt outs are at the bowl game. I have seen other teams that have guys that opted out that are on the sidelines.

Opt out is the PC way of saying "I ain't playing for ya'll, I quit".
