Did I miss something? I really haven't kept up with many teams other than the Rangers this spring due to work.
ETA: I'm a retard. Please excuse my idiocy.

These aren't borderline prospects who just couldn't hack it, these were guys universally regarded around baseball as the creme de la creme of prospects. Some prospects fail, and that's life, but all of them? It's getting silly.
I feel your pain. Guys like Brandon Wood, Casey Kotchman, and a few others have taken similar paths! I just hope that Trumbo, Trout, and Bourjos can make up for the top prospect fails in the past.
In case you can't tell I really like Trumbo!!

Royals traded Grienke to the Brewers for shortstop Alcides Escobar, outfielder Lorenzo Cain and right-handed pitching prospects Jake Odorizzi and Jeremy Jeffress.
No problem. Some people get busy that time of year.

Yeah, just googled it.
This whole "work" thing really interferes with my hobbies. Working 15 hour days will do that I guess. It's a damn shame, really.

I felt like it was the right thing to do for the Royals to trade him.
But.. they could've gotten a better package in return, IMO.

Yeah, I can't believe the Rangers couldn't have put together a better package than what the Brewers did.
To give the Royals the benefit of the doubt, they have done wonders with their farm syste, despite being terrible at the MLB level. They have turned that organization around, which used to be a total mess. You have to build the foundation first.
