OSU is better than this. This is expected behavior from Alabama fans

They might. They're also not the only team on our schedule.

If we are being honest average opponent doesn’t mean as much as how many teams have a legit shot to beat you. A bunch of 30-50s isn’t more of a threat than a couple 10-30 and the rest close to 100.

I can’t make up my mind on PSU. It’ll be a good win just not sure how good. I worry they are just feasting on less talented skill players to boost their defense. Look at Michigan’s defense last year they totally got exposed when they suddenly had to defend top tier skill players for OSU.

I wasn't talking about wins and losses in that context. I was talking about stats and advanced metrics.

When comparing those, average SoS is important. In my opinion, at least.

Yeah there’s a team in Tuscaloosa that would be a fairly quality win

They couldn't play zone and Ohio State was deep enough to exploit their 4th and 5th DBs playing man.

It was painful to watch honestly. Just so sad.

I work with a ton of OSU fans and I can tell you that NONE of them are knocking LSU, or anyone in the SEC for that matter.

In fact, the last conference call I was on with them (group of about 8 diehards), their comment last week was "we need to worry about not losing by 50 points to a team like Iowa before we can talk trash about anyone else".

The best teams on OSU's schedule are Wisky and TTUN. Make the playoff and see what happens after that....

Outside of falling Florida and Texas,

Texas is looking less quality but Florida just lost by 7 at a neutral site to a top 5-10 team. They will probably finish 10-2.

Don’t be jelly there’s nothing wrong with be #2 in the playoff rankings

I mean isn't that what all the top teams in the country are doing? Part of the reason why LSU OSU Bama and OU have great offenses is because they defenses they do it against often suck.

Yeah but when your schedule has nothing on it the credibility of “the top ranked defense” goes out the window.

While not accepting your premise, I would note that Georgia Southern knocked off an undefeated App State the other night, so they may well be ranked this week.

OSU should be number 1 in the first rankings. Most complete team so far and has dominated everyone they have played.

Well, it was a good run. I thought this was our year. Appears it isnt.
