3-28 with RISP? Not a clutch hitter among them
David Oriz and David Eckstein laugh at all of you.

Knat, your boy Pujols went 2-3 though. Don't guess he came up with RISP though.

Considering the pitchers were no name bums, I agree. They all sucked last night.

hmmmmm, maybe it was clutch pitching

Aaron Cook says yes. You on the other hand already think your statement is rock solid, so there's no arguing. But, I'm sure if Cook played for the Cubs, you'd be praising Sweet Lou and the pitching performances last night.

Speaking of, the Cubs pitchers were untouchable last night.

I was just glad to see that Fukudome went out and showed people that he was a worthy All-Star starter.

Did anyone postion player wise show themselves to be a worthy all star? Look at the averages and RBI from last night. Clutch hitting please not a one of them.

Absolutely none of them. Zero. Nada. Besides, that's why they were there......
but it would have been alot more interesting to see Seattle's #7 hitter in an all star game rather than watching Rodriguez or Manny or Morneau or Hamilton. That's just my take on it. I'm not sure about the rest of you guys. This game should have been 14-13 by the 6th inning.

I was just taking an easy stab at you... I don't think any compare-and-contrast can be made from one game (even if the game is 15 innings long). Play another game with the same players tomorrow, and they may score 30 runs. Just the laws of probability.

Maybe if Astros fans werent so apathetic, they could have voted Carlos Lee in and he could have the 3 HR's in this game that Lsuyoohoo guaranteed.

Let's just kill two birds with one stone and eliminate fan-voting for starters (that's right I'm looking at you Cubby and BoSox fans

I doubt it, those guys all suck "in the clutch"

Seattle's #7 hitter
What's his BA with 2 outs and RISP?

Whoa there.....dont want to make baseballs' execs to all do this at the thought of rational change:

With Dunn and Pierre on the NL and Eckstein on the AL, we may have seen those 30 runs.
